Hi folks,
If you\'re in the market for a futon mattress, you can have mine for free. It\'s always been used with care, so it\'s in pretty good shape (it has never been used without protective covers and it\'s been flipped over once a week without fail). It\'s quite a well-made mattress. It\'s the \"Three in one\" model from Kodoma Futons in Amsterdam (Google them), and costs €336 if bought new, i.e. just for the mattress). It\'s also one of the firmer models, so ideal for someone who likes firm support, as I did until a recent back injury.
The only catch is you will have to pick it up yourself (I live on Java Eiland, Amsterdam).
Please note: I\'m only giving away the mattress, not the base. You should also bear in mind that it\'s quite heavy, so you might want to consider bringing along a friend to help you get it to your car (there\'s a lift in my building, fortunately).
